Hello, f-list.  I've been in the process of preparing my home for sale, which despite thinking my place was ready, has meant weeks of work.  Writing is definitely a welcome respite, but taking time to update my journal has paid the price.

Oh good lord and good luck! I know how hard that is. No wonder it's been a little bugs light around here lately. Hope you are well and that they paint someday comes off your hands. And i hope th housing market smiles on you as well!

Yeah, trust me, I'd rather be fangirling and writing instead of grouting that backsplash, something I'd let slide for three years. *sigh*

I keep joking that I'm looking for the Shack of my Dreams, but it'll probably be true! Thanks for the encouragement.

HAH! More like repainting baseboard (why did I paint it dark green? Why, why, why!?) grouting tile, that sort of thing. When I baked cookies for the showing, I just did the instant sort!

Lols - In my previous house the woodwork was dark purple, we wanted that white for the showing but didn't do it cause it would be too much work. Thankfully that was in a time when the market was very good. We sold it two days after the first showing. The lady who bought it cursed us when she had to paint it four times to get it white again - lols.
