New chapter. Yay!

Love the start. All that banter/teasing. Then hot secksing. Then...then...then...*choking up*. No, seriously, that was good. We need a little tension/misunderstandings etc so it can all be sorted out with more hot secksing in a later chapter. *snort* I like Bill thinking that he already had one marriage where his wife didn't love him enough, and he wasn't going to do it again. I also like Laura's accusation of her love not measuring up to his standards.

I'm glad you gave us a little of Laura's thoughts at the end. That she was thinking the same things as Bill. ♥

And I'm really interested to know about the election now. You're setting up Laura to run against Baltar. And Richard can run as well? In Aus you can have 3 candidates but not in the US? Will you kill Richard off first? Will Cain still be alive? Will Baltar still win? (I'm thinking Laura will be much more devastated in this universe than in canon!) So many questions.

I'm surprised that Shaw wants to kill Laura. I kinda like the thought that Cain and Shaw (and Richard to some extent) would have dismissed the 'schoolteacher' as a non-event. Looking forward to where you're going with that.

HAH! I decided to end run you and Tink! If I didn't include that, I knew I was inviting a sad little PM from Tink. "Laura seems so...hard."

And in doing that, I really liked that idea, that was thinking the same thing, and unlike him, it scared her to death!

In US elections, you aren't voting for a person for president, you're voting for a party, and that party has nominated two people to be president and vice-president. There are more than two people running for president every election, but the rest of the world doesn't hear about the wacky Libertarians and our sad little Green Party candidates.

So I feel comfortable having a three horse race, assuming all the horses make it that far!

I'm surprised that Shaw wants to kill Laura.
