RATS!!!! kinda.......
Well, hmm yet another positively boring day in the life of Bug. I have fought the battle that is the sidewalk on my bike once again. I’ve been winning, um, I guess. So I have to go see the famous wizards at FCCJ. The people will the magical ability to get my ass together and in college. That is tomorrow, tonight, tonight is the famous Art Bar night.
Right now however, I’m trying to get my rat Kiyo and Teabags to share a cage. Kiyo is giving him major shirt. I begin to doubt my trainer abilities for I alas cannot get them to get along better right now. Its kind of funny watching a little rat pounce on another but then it worries me.I have been trying all types of spells also know as treats to get them to accept one another. I WISH THEY’D JUST HURRY UP AND BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF ONE ANOTHER ASTABLISH WHO’S DOMINANT AND GET THE HELL OVER IT! I luv them though, I need them. Oh I have a mouse too. I got him from an awful pets store here I’ll make a repost from this club im in.
( this is mainly about mice but for you rat owners , if you could give me advice on the mice id apperciate it but if you could give me your opinion on the pet store I'd really appreciate it.)Well, Im not a mouse owner im a Rat owner however, I bought two little babies from a pet stroe they where labeled small rats but were just a bit bigger than the second digit of my finger.So I think there mice. (Dont I sound extremly ignorant, Im sorry but im trying to be discriptive as possible.)
Anyways, I was visiting a pet store, I currently own 3 rats and wasnt lookin for a new one but I wanted to see some new babies anyways. I saw a bunch of mice together doing fine but in another cage I saw some mice being harrased by a particular angry mouse.This is bound to happen I know but I noticed that one mouse (an albino) eye was closed up do to a wound. Plus, another particular pathetic little soul was sitting between the food an water bowl. A brown mouse, whos left ear was ragged and the poor little things back was missing a long line of hair with scabs on his back. I felt horrible watching the poor things get chased around.
I walked around again and noticed a mother rat with a wound on her shoulderand scabs all over her head. She was scrathing making it bleed and again I was concerend.My good friend asked one of the tenders working at the time if the new that alot of the rats and mice where in poor condition.He gave the mother rat for an example. She said she but antibiotics on the mother, I dont know if she just said that to us to let us get on her way or if she actually ment it.
We lef tthe stroe and i wanted to by the poor souls but didnt think i had room and wondered if i should.I almost bought a new cage and other requirments to save them.We both left however.My friend was about to buy the poor little brown one but he has a cat and new it might do more harm than good, not like let thew mouse out in front of the cat or anything but he thought it might stress the already stress out little thing.
The nexted day however me ended up at the mall where the pet store was with my friend yet again. We went in I noticed an hamster with an eye closed as well and a few ruff looking other rodents not real bad. I bought the two mice the one with eye wound and the brown one, because i forgot i had a desent sized cage for them.The eye wound mouse was completely blind now.
I took them home and sadly the white blind one has passed the day after I got him. I feel slightly responsible I didnt know how to take care of it now with its wounds it was to afraid to move.I gave it food and water tried to take care of it not to stress it to much.It was futile, I was upset as well for not naming it before it died but I have not before im going to burry him.Im calling him orien.
The other is doing fine but I dont know what I should tdo for it.He's active enough and eating. Im not sure if I should touch him do to infection I really doubt he has a desiease but im also afraid that hes tender. i want to give him a bath. I feel like I rescued the poor babies but fear im not helping. Now my questions are.What should I do to help my poor baby that i have named, Balthesar.Also, if I should report the pet store.i know some injuries may be expected in pet store but this seemed in excess. I dont want to over react but If i need to do something I'd like to?
Oh I just asked fro advice from that club my intro is going well so far…..so far……..
LOL MY SISTERS PUPPY IS TRYING TO HUMP ANTONIO’s ARM RIGHT NOW! He’s barking because Antonio wont give it up.
