Drama at south was never very kind to me, but today I had an interesting experience. We were doing some basic improv with character archetypes. I was sort of a lead-female type thing (she was perkier than myself and more mellow as far as partying goes) my partner at one point was a boy named Robert who had to play the "whore with the heart of gold" (not easy for a male, but he nailed it by being a football player who was more sensitive than the others, and who liked to paint)anyway, the setting was a 3 hour bus ride, and we both wanted to get to know each other. Robert, nice as he is, isn't someone I would date in real life, and I have a boyfriend (approaching the two year mark, I might add) but somehow, our characters fell in love. considering it was just a short practice thing, it felt wonderful because I actually was the character i was trying to be.
and I did so by doing what came naturally instead of focusing on stanislovski methods XD
seriously, that guy was an asshole. I don't care how brilliant he was.
