Earthly parents rear us in order for us to be self-sufficient in the long run. It's so different from what our Heavenly Father teaches us; that we need to depend on Him to encounter/achieve every and any hint of Goodness. How to (re)gain humility and the need to depend on Someone Else? How to maintain this mindset amidst a society that reinforces otherwise? Does this call for a change in the way we rear the next generation of Christians?
