That anyone can opt out of laws protecting pregnant women is an atrocity, as is just about everything insurance companies do. Please read and help if you can, or pass it on to someone you think can.

These are close personal friends of mine and winterlady's who I can vouch for as not trying to play the system or any crap like that. They may as well be family, which means this kid they are about to have may as well be my nephew. A year or so ago, I would have just thrown money at this. Things are more complicated now, and we can't do it that simply. But I can help get the plea out, so I am.
