Another idea on Vader capturing Luke
Another idea on Vader capturing Luke and trying to keep him.
Still going on the idea that Vader had some beautiful rooms fixed up for Luke. There's an indoor water fixture, with plants, miniature ducks, and turtles. A large selection of clothing, just in Luke's size.
But Luke is still trying to escape back to the Alliance. Luke tells his father that he (Luke) misses his friends.
Vader is of the opinion that Luke's friends in the Alliance are all bad influences. So Vader speaks with Veers and Peitt. Surely they know some young people Luke's age, whom would be good influences on Luke.
Veers suggests his son, Zevulon.
Zev is a bit puzzled that his father and Vader are requesting his presence.
Both Veers and Vader are sure that Zevulon will be a good influence on Luke. Vader is hopeful that Luke will stay, and quit trying to run away. (Vader is secretly hoping that Luke will forget all about his rebel friends. )
Perhaps Veers and Vader explain to Zevulon that Luke was "corrupted by those rebels and rogue Jedi", and that they are counting on Zev to lead Luke back to Imperial thinking.
Imagine Zev's surprise when he discovers that Vader's son, Luke Naberrie, was briefly with the Alliance/ rebels. (It does take them a few guarded conversations to discover their shared sympathies with the Alliance. )
Luke wants to escape back to the Alliance, but Zevulon is certain that he and Luke can help the Alliance better where they are.
Zev knows a bit of slicing, how to twin a datapad, and encrypting data chips.
Somewhere along the line, they make contact with Rivoche Tarkin, and a couple other sons/ daughters of Imperials.
The Tarkin family is quite happy to see Rivoche hanging around with Lord Vader's son, and encourage the relationship. (They are hoping that Rivoche will marry Luke, or at least get pregnant by him.)
So Luke and Zevulon steal or hack information, put it on data chips, and pass it to Rivoche, who then passes it to the Alliance.
Mostly it's Luke being a cute Space Twink distraction, or keeping watch, while Zev & company do the slicing, twinning of datapads, etc.
Vader is very happy that son-boy has stopped trying to run away.
The Alliance gets some information about mining of kyber crystals, in preparation for a second Death Star.
