Still here.

I should post more art.

I'm posting mostly because I'm sick, and been 'banned' from work (which I assume also includes school) until Monday.

I went to the doctor Thursday. I had called out from work for Thursday because I felt so terrible. (I went to work Wednesday, but Wednesday evening I ended up calling work to tell them I couldn't make it Thursday. I made sure not to talk to our (male) store manager because he is terrible at communicating, and I *knew* he would not pass on the message. He burned me once like that. I was so glad one of the other (female) store managers was there.)

I have some sort of bacterial infection. I totally forgot to ask the doctor what I have. My throat was swollen, including 'uvu', my bronchial tubes sounded swollen (so the doc said), my heart rate was up, and I forgot to ask about my blood pressure and oxy sat levels. Oh well.

I ended up with an antibiotic, Azithroymyicin 250MG, and a steroid, methylPREDNlsolone.

The pharmacist at Tom Thumb (I go there because it's a Blue Cross Blue Shield preferred pharmacy) warned me that insomnia and jitters have been reported with the Azithro. So don't take it before bedtime.

I took it Friday morning, and my post on my FB page was something like "I'm hyper! Who needs coffee? Not me! Whee!"

Yeah, if any of y'all ever get that antibiotic, DO NOT take it before bedtime, take it when you wake up.

I have a ton of glazing to do for pottery, but have to skip class this Saturday. Pah. I hope I can get my sh*t ready for glazing Tuesday. (Get the glazes painted on or dipped, and then put them on the shelf for the kiln.) If not, maybe I'll just get them glazed, and either 'rent' space in the kiln at White Rock Pottery, or via another ex-student I know who got a kiln.

Anyway...

How is everyone else doing?

Start Rant.....And may I rant on about our store manager not communicating? This is your bloody store. You are in charge of it. When I called you to let you know I could not come in *the day before* my shift, you did not pass the message on.

I don't see why he could not have at least delegated the responsibility to someone, if he didn't have time for it himself. "Hey, BEM says she can't come in for her shift tomorrow. I need you to call other employees and find someone." Heck, he didn't even tell the manager on shift for that day and she called me wanting to know what was up. She was really polite about it, probably because I'm not one of those employees who just skives off, I let always let them know if I'm running late.

She did confirm with me later that he knew, but said he forgot to pass on my message. Bah.

/end rant.

ramdom thoughts, my health
