So, I was at Patheos....

And someone has an entry criticizing Pat Robertson's attempts to pray away the hurricane, and stuff.

But in the comments Tuna has this to say about something Pat said...

"Obviously the most important takeaway here is the warning about the sweaters. I have questions:

1. Is it just sweaters that attract demons, or any item purchased at a thrift shop?

2. Is it just thrift shops that are demon infested, or should we also worry about vintage shops, and consignment shops? I think garage sales should be safe, as I only go to those in my neighbourhood, and none of my neighbours have exhibited signs of possession.

3. I don't pray, and will not start anytime soon, so is there a detergent available that will remove demons? What about Oxy-Clean? It removes all kinds of smells and stains, so surely it's good for demons as well.

4. Two of the thrift stores in town are run by churches, so they should be safe, right? If you buy a ceramic cross from a thrift store is it doubly Jesus-y or doubly cursed? I'm not going to buy one, but I ask because I see so many for sale, almost like people donate all of the useless gifts they get for christenings."

And I can't help but to think that sounds like some sort of fan fic challenge....

Who doesn't buy second hand sweaters due to demons? Or they don't buy from church thrift shops because demons flock there more? What happened when someone bought a demon-infested sweater from a church run thrift shop?

And what happened to the demon when exposed to detergent, or water, or bleach, or all three. Or did those things not work, but vinegar and baking soda did?
