Little note from working retail...
When I hear this...
Parent: "Come here NOW!"
Kid: "NOOOO!"
I so want to go over to the kid and do something.
Like lunging while roaring at the top of my lungs.
Or say, "No, stay, we want to dine on kid soup tonight." Then cackle evilly, while rubbing my hands together.
Or make up some story about the headless mannequins needing a new child for their headless mannequin making party tonight.
I never do though...
