I thought crafty Christmas was fun! My grandma was complaining about having to do a craft, which is odd, because she can sew and crochet and knit and embroider and do all kinds of crafty things. The post office is right around the corner for us, but I'm always at work, and I mail things so rarely that I have no supplies with which to mail anything and always have to get them at the post office, lol.
Because I'm a picky little nerd who has read The Hobbit a dozen times and I was sitting there going THAT'S NOT IN THE MOVIE. THAT CHARACTER WOULD NEVER DO THAT. THAT MAKES NO SENSE. It's a fun movie (I suppose *grumblemumble*) if you haven't read The Hobbit at all or not recently or you just aren't bothered by things like that - Jacob has read The Hobbit at least a few times and he liked the movie. They add a LOT of stuff that isn't even remotely in the book - they did that in the first one, too, but this one they did it even more, and changed or expanded pretty much every plot line. They keep adding violent action sequences where there were none in the book, and I'm not big on action movies, I get incredibly bored with action sequences, especially if they are totally not called for in the script and ARE NOT IN THE BOOK. So, it's a good movie, if you're looking for a big fantasy action drama, but if you want to see a movie about The Hobbit, you'll be disappointed like I was. Rant over. LOL. ^_^ And yeah, sitting for that long is a pain in the butt, literally - it's basically three hours long.
It was!! No, luckily we were out of the mountains fairly quickly and it wasn't even snowing when we got back into town until later when we were already home. :)
IKR??? That would be such an easy diet to keep! I told Jacob today that we have to either throw away or freeze all the desserts we have laying around, because otherwise our bloodstreams will be made entirely of sugar within a week. TOO MUCH. So good but so bad...LOL.
Talented! I wish I could do all of that. Go grandma! What did she end up making? Dealing with the post office is annoying. I wish they picked everything up and packaged it.
I've never read The Hobbit, can you believe it?! I don't know if I'm thinking of the wrong book, but it doesn't look big enough to where they can get three movies out of it! And so long! I guess it's like Harry Potter should be if they included everything only apparently not since they're adding stuff that's not in the book itself. Boo!
I'd gladly take your sugar things. :D Just remember that it's temporary! The holidays bring forth so many desserts. :D
