Since I didn't ever get around to posting a real entry, I'm gonna post my 25 random thing to tide you over until I get around to it.
1. One of my goals in life is to have a The Mama’s & The Papa’s cover band, but I would settle for Peter, Paul & Mary or the Beach Boys.
2. Even though it would have completely changed my life as it is now, some days I wish I had moved to Nashville.
3. I was too lazy to be a music major, and that’s the only reason why I am not.
4. I can honestly say that I will listen to any type of music. I might not like it, but I’ll listen to it.
5. Everyday, I consider dropping out of college to go to culinary school, but I’m too picky an eater for that to be a realistic goal.
6. Nine times out of ten, when I’m baking it’s to relieve stress.
7. I have no earthly idea what I’m going to do with my life after I graduate. But once I figure that out, I will go to Grad School, or get some other higher level education.
8. My mother and I could be members of the DAR, but neither of us really wants to.
9. I absolutely hate talking on the phone. I have a short list of people which I have no problem calling, but I hate calling anyone else.
10. I’ve been talking up the idea of a bakery/therapist office, but I don’t believe I could really do it.
11. I miss my friends from high school. And middle school. And elementary school. But I absolutely love the friends I’ve made at UofL.
12. I’ll procrastinate on everything until the day that I die. I’ll probably even procrastinate doing that.
13. The future freaks me out, and I’m always worried that something will go wrong.
14. I absolutely hate writing. I put off writing papers as long as I possibly can. And even though I hate it, and push it to the end, I write well. I can BS my way through most anything.
15. I have a poor body image, but I’m working to fix that.
16. If I correct your grammar, it’s not because I’m trying to annoy you. I’m trying to teach you. (And make my brain stop spinning.)
17. I am more spiritual than religious. Some days the Force makes more sense to me. But I do believe in God and Jesus, a lot is just hard to understand.
18. If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Switzerland.
19. Even though I haven’t seen any of them, or read the books, I hate Lord of the Rings. Hate. You can try to convince me otherwise, but it’ll be a cold day in hell (or Mordor if you’re so inclined) before I’ll change.
20. I love to read. I want to go back and read all the things I should have read in high school, but I don’t have the time.
21. If I had not been named Hilary, you might know me as Genevieve (with the French pronunciation), or Stefan, had I been a boy.
22. I’m graduating in December with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a concentration in Social Sciences, and a Minor in Sociology (if I ever hear back from them…).
23. This goes for the music major thing as well; I’m not a theatre major because I wanted a life.
