An Asuka who looks somewhat awkward. ]

[she jumps a bit, nearly dropping the gear as she does so, lights up a very bright red, and swings around to face Asuka]

Tenjoin-- [yes she was positive Asuka would hear the gear message, but at least then they wouldn't have had a face-to-face conversation, and things wouldn't be so... awkward]

I'm sorry if I startled you. But it's probably better to hold this type of conversation in person.

[lifting a hand to rub her temples]

In all honesty, I had hoped to only have it over the gear.

I understand. [ she nods to Croissant, who leaps back to her shoulder. ] However, it might help.

[very clearly surprised]

You-- there was a duel over the right to take your hand in marriage? As if you were a mere prize to be won?

Yes, there was.

As you might imagine, I wasn't very amused.

I got out of my situation a lot easier than you'll probably have to do with yours, however. But I'm glad you've taken it upon yourself to do something.

How did you manage to free yourself from the situation?
