Or rather a Reader. Or maybe I should rather say - the Reader? Anyway, I attended a conference which turned out to be more interesting than I had expected it to be, and there a guy came to me, to introduce himself during a coffe break.
He turned out to be a (the) Reader, i.e. the first person who had willingly (not as a part of editorial process) read my book. Of course, since there is very few things published here on the subject, he was not given much choice. Still, it was amusing.
PS. And no, I am not overjoyed or very proud - I would, had the book been good. I just note the fact ;)
