I Know It Isn't March 14th
Pi! That is the word of the day. Yesterday I finally saw "Life of Pi" and understand why it won awards this year. The cinematography was amazing; the story stirring and the acting perfect. I was so glad to see that Ang Lee was involved in the production.
I did my normal chores and errands. PLUS, I worked on the tile walls of my shower, fixing the grout that had developed weak spots. And I finally went to Target to get my glasses adjusted (they were very crooked). I am now using the guest bath for my daily showers but that is fine. I should be able to move back to my own bath on Wednesday. And that will free me up to repair the tile in the guest bath next weekend. I know this is only a temporary fix since the house is very old (built in 1984) and the tile is the original. Eventually, I will have to pay to have vinyl walls installed. But this year is not the year. First I MUST replace the sliding doors (a triple and a double) on the sunporch. Tired of having cold air flowing into the house from that room.
My newer headphones are trash; at least the mic no longer works. I can still hear so I will leave that set at work so that I can take my audio courses. Next weekend, I will be paying a visit to the store to get wireless headphones. The cord on the current pair got tangled and were being dragged from home to work to home every day. No clue if the tangle or the cold or Xander's teething caused the cord to fray.
