After taking a peep through memory lane at Angel's old mansion, we started toward the van. There was no time to play around, anymore. We had to tell Willow's parents, before it was too late. That was going to be the hardest thing for me. I have to take Xander with me.
God, how could I have been so careless? Going through Angel's mansion, knowing my best friend was in the van, dead, and we still didn't get anywhere. This was all Xander's fault. If he wouldn't have ran away from me, we wouldn't have got sidetracked. You what we should have done? We should have just dropped off Cordy with Faith and then we should have went to Willow's house. There was no way around the matter. This was something we had to do. No more putting it off!
All the sadness was coming back to me. The realization that Willow is gone. I think it started to settled in the pit of my stomach. Maybe, maybe, I was just trying to block it out, like it was a bad dream. Truth was, it wasn't.
I looked at Xander, as we were heading back to the van. I stopped and then he stopped. I nervously looked up at him. "Xander? W-What are we going to do? I mean, we still have to tell Willow's parents. We need to take her body to the morgue. I can't believe we got so sidetracked." I sighed.
This was too much, on us. Giles, should have been here. I just now, wandered where he was. He left us all alone to do this on our own.
I was going to say something else to Xander, when I saw something. We got closer. My eyes widened and my blood boiled. Spike. Spike, with a girl he was about to kill. What the hell was he doing here? Out of all people to come back to Sunnydale, he does. Didn't he learn his lesson, last time? I told him I never wanted to see him, again. Yet, here he is in front of my face, like he belongs here!
Xander ran toward him, and I was caught off guard by it. "Xander", I yelled after him. Spike looked up and saw Xander coming toward him. He pushed the girl on the ground and picked Xander up and threw him across the ground. I kept running toward Spike and I kicked him right in the gut. He looked up and punched me. I flew a couple of feet and hit the ground with a thud. Dammit! I got up, and he was slowly walking toward me. Repeat of the first time, we met?
I stood. "Spike. What are you doing here? I thought I told you not to come back." I crossed my arms over my chest. He smirked. "Not funny and I'm not in the mood. Now, tell me why you're here?" He didn't answer. I uncrossed my arms and punched him. He flew back and fell. I walked toward him and looked down at him.
Figures. He was laughing at me. I looked over at Xander. He was ok. I just hope he stays put. "Come on, Spike. Not even a little hint?"
