One of just two 2008 chapters of this terrific tale of a post-NFA bunch of demon fighters in Asscrack Ashcraft, AZ. Featuring almost everybody: Oz, little Jordy, Giles, Buffy, Willow, Xander, Angel/Nina (sweet!), Spike/Fred (bittersweet!), Gunn, Illyria, and a cast of marvelous OCs (particularly 13-year old Slayer Thu Kheim, playing happily with Buffy's Troll Hammer). Please join me in getting on my knees and begging this brilliant writer for more, more, more of this in 2009!

This charming story is a conversation between Jayne and Book, aboard Serenity, about some pretty deep stuff. I say post-series, because Firefly is clearly what happens after Earth That Was is destroyed in the one apocalypse that Buffy and her team can't foil. You doubt me? Ha! I have it on the authority of the none other than herself_nyc, who wrote all about it in a series of 2004-ish stories that can be found here, here, and here. Therefore it must be so.
