Is Oz a fully realized character or 2-d love interest?
I was reading the very fascinating and thoughtful (as well as funny) 30 Days of Buffy meme by eleusis_walks when somewhere (can't quite remember) I read the argument for Oz barely being a character. I thought about that for a moment and did realize that most of the time, his role was primarily as a great boyfriend and furthering Willow's story. Though, I like Oz alot and Seth Green gave a great performance as a teenage zen werewolf which gives the character distinction. For me, a good actor can elevate their lines and give a shallow role depth. What do you think? Does Oz become a full fleshed character?
