Who are you? A Jack or an Ennis?
Who are you people on my flist. Who do you most easily identify with. Are you a Jack or an Ennis?
Jack - the dreamer, the one who never quits and who goes after what he/she wants. Possibly has a problem dealing with reality and rather spends his/hers time daydreaming. Sometimes takes on the persona of the clown, the joker, to make others feel better. But beneath the exterior rests a sensitive soul that is afraid of being rejected.
Ennis - the realist and one who is afraid of taking chances and always holds back. Has a strong sense of integrity. Doesn´t like to get too personal with anyone. Keeps his/hers true feelings locked-up inside. Beneath the rough exterior lies a gentle soul waiting to be seen and is capable of loving deeply.
As for myself, I think I started out being a typical Ennis. But over the years I´ve found myself evolving more and more into a Jack. Although I guess it should be seen as a relative scale, and then I would probably end up somewhere inbetween. But still, today I´m more of a Jack than an Ennis.
