Dinner Time Fun
Wednesday I went with Sharon, Anna, Laura, Sonya, April, Jeff, Rose, Amy, Debbie, and Carmen to Hamburger Mary's for food and trivia. My broke butt got the cheapest thing on the menu, a hot dog and it was okay, but the trivia was the main event and we had a blast. Our team name was "20 tits and a dick". We won the 2nd round, and our prize was a $10 gift card. As a result, our team name became "How the hell are 11 people supposed to split one $10 gift card?" We got 2nd place in the next round, and when the guy read our team name he was like "Well, fuck you. You don't get a gift card this time, you get a medium t-shirt, and I see maybe one dude at that table who could wear it", and he gave it to Jeff. He was quite a snarky gay dude, but we loved it. He cracked us up.

Last night I went to O'Charley's with April, Jeff, Rose, Jean, Eliana, her friend Debbie, and Lori. Great time, good food, 'nuff said. Meanwhile Casey was marching in the band at the football game. Someone was sick so she was able to step in (she always plays with the band but doesn't have a spot for marching). I was hoping I'd get out of dinner early enough to go see, but I didn't get home until 9:30. Oh well, I'm sure it wasn't the only time she'll end up marching. She actually didn't come home until after 1 AM because she went with the band leader and a few others (her boyfriend included... gah) to Steak N Shake after the game to celebrate (the school is 3 for 3 so far).
It's going to be an exhausting, but fun weekend. Today we are volunteering at a BASE Camp sleepover from 2-10. They are having a pool party/BBQ and then the kids are going to perform in a talent show and then there's a pizza party with karaoke, etc. so it should be fun. One of these days we plan to actually spend the night at one of these, but not this time because we are getting up early on Sunday to go and participate in a flash mob for breast cancer awareness. For those who don't know, a flash mob is when people in a public place suddenly break into a dance. I've seen them on YouTube and they are awesome. I've always wanted to be a part of one. So we're doing that Sunday from 8-1. And then at 4:30 we have to go sell auction tickets with annoying lady again, and then we may be going to my parents' house for dinner or something because my mom complained that they haven't seen Casey in 2 weeks when I said we wouldn't make it to church this weekend (there isn't a single mass happening when we aren't busy).
So yeah. I'm tired just thinking about what we've got going on today and tomorrow. Guess I need to get out of bed and try to be productive before we have to leave for camp.
