What a depressing game last night (and frustrating. HELLO ref, Kobe elbowed Lee right in the face before making the shot that basically won them the game. Thanks for noticing). Bleh.
Weekend plans - the main thing is Casey's dance recital Sunday afternoon. But it's still going to be a really busy weekend. Here, let me show you the schedule I put together.
Friday
-Charge camera batteries
-Make sloppy joes
-Put away dishes
-Find black sweats and a white shirt or something similar in Casey's closet (her dance teacher said they needed to wear this to dress rehearsal and the recital until they change into their costumes. Um, why do they need 2 costumes? Casey didn't explain it well and nobody over there answers phones or emails. I'm pretty sure she doesn't own black sweats and I'm sure as hell not buying them for this. She says she'd wear them for other things, but hello this is Florida. It's 100 degrees today. Literally. Sweats?)
-Make sure costume is ready and all pieces are accounted for
-See if there's any flea or heartworm treatment in the house (doubtful, I usually buy it one month at a time, which I know is more expensive long term, but I can't afford the big packs)
Saturday
-Leave at 9, stop at the vet for allergy pills, flea and heartworm treatment
-Dress rehearsal, 10-11:15. Bring Brianna? (their recitals are at the same time but not their dress rehearsals, so they may go to those instead so they can see each other's shows) Do they want to stay and watch the whole thing (she only has to be there for hers). If so, while they are there go to Borders and get Facebook for Dummies for Dad (Father's Day gift... he's Facebook obsessed and is forever asking me how to do stuff on there).
-Get a gift and card for Casey's friend Anna (bday party Thursday)
-Drop Casey off at Bri's dress rehearsal at 2
-Laundry
-Use
Imommies discounts to look for additional Father's Day gifts from JC Penney
-Balance checkbook
-Pay bills
-Look at passport paperwork, see if there's a website or phone number to check status.
-Try to find something to bring to coalition dinner (Thursday the coalition for the homeless is having a happy hour thing where you bring canned food or something else from their needs list and you get free pizza and happy hour priced drinks). If not, add to list.
-Figure out grocery list
Sunday
-Church 9 AM, breakfast with parents
-Albertson's: get free movie (joined
Moviecube.com, which comes with a free rental) and refrigerated groceries
-Drop Casey off for her recital at 1:30. Get non-refrigerated groceries (since they can sit in the car, it's too far to take them home) while waiting for the show (if you haven't already, go to Borders and get Facebook for Dummies for Dad).
-Recital at 3, probably dinner with the parents after
-Remove polish from toes
-Clean out and vacuum the car
-Magic game at 8 (GO MAGIC! It's okay, you only have to win 3 games in a row. SIGH)
Locals, you are more than welcome to come to Casey's recital! It's 3 PM Sunday at Dr Phillip High School, $10 (cash only) at the door.
BTW, I'm pretty sure my uterus is bleeding to death. My gyno better find something he can fix in that ultrasound I got the other day. BLAH.
