Silly phone call from my mom
Mom: You better hurry over here. Your dad is watching March of the Wooden Soldiers (Laurel and Hardy) without you!
Me: Oh no.
Mom: Your brother went to work. He refused to go in late so he could stay and watch it. I think I'm going to go wake Casey up and bring her over so at least she can watch.
Me: Oh, I'm sure she'd love that (/sarcasm)
Mom: Your father swears we all used to sit on the floor in a circle eating fudge, watching that movie and laughing.
Me: Why would we sit on the floor? You always had furniture.
Mom (to my dad): Kelly wants to know why we would sit on the floor if we had furniture.
Me: The only Christmas movie I remember us watching a lot was Christmas Vacation.
Mom: I told him nobody ever watched that movie with him except maybe you, and you were scared of it when you were little.
Me: Yeah, that and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
Me: Oh no.
