BOO

Trick or treating was pretty fun, once we got there. Kind of insane getting her ready though. We both got black hair dye all over our hands that would not come out, for one thing. We ended up using nail polish remover, which got most of it. But we both still have little blotches here and there. It worked well in her hair at least. She wouldn't let me paint her nails black because we were already running late. Her wings were droopy, until I stuck them to her back with masking tape. LOL, but we got our crap together eventually and I think her costume came out great. Celebration was super crowded with trick or treaters. Some houses had lines going down the sidewalk of people just waiting for candy. Everyone was really stingy too, only giving everyone one piece, but I guess if you have that many kids coming to your house, you have to conserve. Elise's mom is really nice, so we chatted a little while the girls did their thing.

And now, I'm free until Sunday afternoon. WOO.

So, I have some pics. These were taken with my phone because my camera is broken. Casey took it to school one day and her teacher dropped it, so now the button that you use to switch to flash won't work. Anyway, my mom took some pics that probably came out better, so when she sends them I'll post. But here are some I took.

A little fuzzy, but it does show off her costume well

Here she is protesting my taking her picture

With Elise, who was a princess. She just wore a pretty dress and tiara.

So thanks to my lack of flash, this came out crappy, but I'm posting it anyway because you can kind of make it out. This was a Sweeney Todd thing. It was so cool, they had it all set up. There was the barber chair, a table with meat pies and cooking supplies, a street sign that said Fleet Street, and of course, Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett. Very impressive.

Time to watch Supernatural and eat some candy. Hope everyone is having a good Halloween.
