Discovery Cove
It was really great, and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather.

The tropical river. My dad had a really hard time in there because he has MS, which makes him have really bad balance, and the level drops off suddenly and then suddenly gets shallow again. But he still said he liked it. Casey and I went through two different times during the day. They provide noodles, so it's really relaxing to just hang on one and flow through.
This was taken the second time we went through the river, just the two of us. Once you pass through this water fall, you're swimming through the bird aviary. The waterfalls on either side are there to keep the birds inside. It's very cool.
In the aviary, they gave us all cups of food for the birds
Feeding the stingrays. Casey refused to do that. At least she got in the water with them. She already fed them before at Sea World camp, but I guess it's scarier when they are surrounding you (at SW you aren't in the water with them)
Then we had our dolphin interaction, which was awesome of course. Our dolphin's name was Dexter (ha ha, like the serial killer). He's 4 years old and was actually born there. They said he likes to flirt with the lady dolphins, but they don't like him because he's too young, LOL.
OMG it looks like we're trying to drown him. He was actually posing, sticking his tail in the air.

We got to swim out to the deep end and then get pulled back
The only thing I don't have pics of is the coral reef. Wish I had an underwater camera for that, because it was gorgeous. Casey refused to go past the shallow part because there were enormous stingrays in there. I swam all around, but panicked a little when I was kind of surrounded at one point. Still, it was awesome.
Anyway, as we were leaving, we got to see a sloth and a kinkajou. This is the building I work in again.
