(no subject)
I'm back at work today. It's not as insanely busy as I'd expected, but I do have a lot to do. I was expecting to come in to piles of work though, but I guess since everyone else was off Thursday and Friday, they weren't here to leave it for me!
I managed to get a few things done at home yesterday. I unpacked, did pretty much all of the laundry, paid some bills, put gas in my car, drove through a car wash, picked Casey up from Gatorland (She bought a whip as a souvenir. Of all things. WTF?), took her with me to Petco to get some crickets for the gecko, dropped her off at home and went grocery shopping, and then finally chilled out for a while.
I caught up on some shows that were on the DVR (which was like 98% full when I got home. I deleted some stuff and watched some other stuff, so now it's at like 70% or something). There were some really good episodes. Lots of people I love making guest appearances (Rachel Bilson on Chuck, Seth Green on Greys, Eliza Dushku on Ugly Betty). I've decided that I'd like to have lots of babies with Chuck, and also with Seth Green. They can share me. Seth was so charming and adorable on Greys. Holy crap at the end though. EW. Why the hell did they have a new episode on Thanksgiving and not one this week? That makes no sense. Oh, and yay for dancing Cristina.
This morning Casey got her 3rd and final HPV shot. She did pretty well. The nurse always comments on how tense she is, and she has a heck of a time getting her to relax her arm, which means it always hurts more. She did better this time, though. I managed to drop her off at school about 15 minutes before it started, so yay for that. She's going to be really late on Thursday because we have 10:30 AM dental appointments. Bleh. Anyway, after I left her at school I picked up Willow from the kennel. She was insane and thrilled to finally go home. I dropped her off at the house and got to work at a little after 10.
