We've been busy girls so far this weekend. I'm getting ready to balance my checkbook and pay some bills, so I figured while I was at the computer, I'd pop in and say hi. Hi!

After work last night, I picked Casey up and dropped her off at gymnastics and then headed over to the ball field office and picked up a garage sale sign and directory. Then I went home and did a bunch of running around, getting ready for some of the things we have going on this weekend (wrapping gifts, printing directions, etc.). I picked Casey up at 8 and we went home and chilled for a while. I was pleasantly surprised that Best Week Ever and The Soup were on. I thought maybe the writers' strike would affect them. I did think it was really odd that Best Week Ever didn't mention the strike at all and Joel (on The Soup) just very briefly made a joke about it. Are they not supposed to talk about it or something? It's the biggest thing happening in Hollywood right now, so on a show like that you'd think they would be all over it. Hm.

This morning I had a very hard time getting Casey up, and it was 10 AM! I had let her stay up until 11:30 or so, but that's still plenty of sleep. I threatened to go get the water bottle to spray at her, and she finally got up. I dropped her off at gymnastics practice, came home and took a shower, and then drove around to look at all the neighborhood garage sales. I didn't see anything that made me want to stop and get out. I was mostly looking for chairs to replace ours that are falling apart. Apparently a new Ikea has recently opened near us (they mailed me a catalog), so I think next time I have a little time (probably not this weekend), we'll run over there and take a look. Anyway, I now have a bad feeling about how our yard sale is going to go. The only reason I'm even bothering to have it is because I want to sell Casey's old bike. I might have 2 or 3 other minor things out, but that's the main thing. Well, almost every single garage sale I drove by was selling bikes. Ack. So I kind of doubt hers will sell. Oh well. We may just give up early and go see a movie or something tomorrow.

Anyway, I gave up on the sales and picked Casey up. Brought her home to change, and she refused to eat any lunch. She has eaten nothing but a rice krispy treat all day. I'm not sure what happened to her appetite. She could be nervous about the meet, but she doesn't seem like it. She's usually pretty okay with them. Hm. She's at her friend Brianna's birthday party right now, and I'm hoping she'll eat something there at least. I have to pick her up in about an hour and take her to the meet. There I shall sit for 4 hours. Wee. My parents said they might drop by. Anyway, then we get to go to freckles40's house. Yay!

Okay. I have bills, groceries and laundry to attend to.
