I had some issues last night with my dad's car. First, Casey and I went through a drive through on the way to youth group (we always do because there isn't time for anything else... I pick her up straight after work). Well, the drink holders are really shallow and wide, and I should have realized this would be a problem. So yeah, the first time I made a turn, my diet coke fell out of the holder and landed upside-down in this tray area between the seats. DOH. Luckily, it didn't spill all that much (wow, strong lids!) and it was contained to that plastic tray thingy. So it was easy to clean up. But then I ended up basically driving with one hand and holding onto the drinks with the other until we got to the church. So then, after I left Casey at youth group, I decided to fill the tank up before giving it back to my dad. So I pull up, get out and then realize the tank is on the other side of the car. So I get back in and drive around. Then it turns out the keypad at that pump wasn't working, so I had to get back in the car and drive up to another pump. I'm sure I looked insane to the other people there.
So then I dropped the car off at my parents' house, chatted with them for a bit, and then took my car and went back to the church... sat in the car and listened to the radio for 20 minutes or so unti she came out, and we headed home. No more youth group for 3 weeks, since they meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.

My cousin Melissa is pretty sure she's pregnant. Woo. Another baby for us to ooh and aah over. The youngest family member recently turned 5 (my cousin Lily), so yeah... time for a new behbeh.

Casey had a pretty severe case of the giggles last night, which was amusing and cute... until time for bed, when that carefree attitude meant I had to tell her to go 25 times while she played around. Erg.

Today might be the final day of vollyeball try outs. I forgot there is no school tomorrow. The coach said they would be making their final decisions either today or Monday. I hope it's today, because I'd rather she didn't miss gymnastics for the 3rd time in a row so soon before the meet.

Yeah, no school tomorrow. Her Girl Scout troop is going to be finishing up the park renovation from 1-5. She'll probably just sleep in before that. I'll have to call and wake her up at noon or so. Christine is taking the afternoon off, so she's offered to take Casey to the park for me. Woo.

Last night I dreamed that Joss Whedon was writing an episode of Reaper, and he was staying at my house while he wrote it. I was totally psyched. And he was flirting with me, which made me very happy (I've never been attracted to him, but whatever... he's a freaking genius).
