Big Brother:
Before last night's episode I didn't really care which nominee went home because I wasn't fond of either of them. I was leaning more toward Joe, but I was like whatever. But by the time they had the vote, I was DYING for Dick to get his ass kicked out. He's such an asshole, I can't take it anymore. I already thought he was abusive when he was yelling at Jen, but I hated her so I wasn't too bothered by it. But then he went after Kail. And seriously, the guy is verbally abusive and tries to intimidate people who don't bow down to him. Not to mention he's a fucking idiot, because he has these tantrums in front of everyone and makes them all uncomfortable, so does he really think he's going to last very long in the house? The only reason he stuck around this week is because he was up against a guy who was disliked just a little bit more. Plus, I hated how smug he was about how he knew he wasn't going to get voted out, and I wanted to see that smirk wiped off his ugly face when Julie read his name. But, no dice. Oh well, I didn't like Joe either. But then did Dick have to win HOH? SIGH. Seriously, two weeks in a row of the worst possible HOH winners. Although, he can now go after my other arch enemy Jen.
Erg. If that's how Dick was as a father, I feel bad for Daniele.
So You Think You Can Dance:
I was so relieved that Anya went home. I never liked her, though I had no reason for that. I don't know if she reminds me of someone I used to hate or what, but something about her bugged me. She was a great dancer, but aren't they all? For me it pretty much comes down to personality now because they are all too good to really tell who is best. Except maybe Lacey and Kameron, who are my favorite and blow me away every time. Anyway, it wasn't so much that I was dying for Anya to go, but I really like Lauren and Jaimie. Plus I knew Anya was one of the judges' favorites and I thought there was no way they were going to pick her. Whew. As for the boys, I was okay with Hok going. He was one of my favorites early on, but he really has kind of a limited ability, and being "unique" is only going to get you so far. Still, it would have been nice to see him on the tour. Which, by the way, I'm thinking about going to. I think it would be so great. But I'm going to have to see if I can handle it money-wise first.
Weekend Plans: OMG HARRY POTTER COMES OUT TONIGHT SQUEEEEEEEE. Ahem. Yeah, tonight we are going to a book release party at Borders. We have decided to dress up, though we have done no planning really. We decided that Casey is going to wear one of her old school uniforms and one of my dad's ties so she can be a Hogwarts student, and then I think she's going to bring her stuffed snake to wear around her neck. I have a witch dress I wore for Halloween a couple of years ago, so I'm going to try it on and see if it will work. If not I can go through my closet and probably find something. I do have my graduation gown, which might be able to double as a cloak. Sort of. Meh, we'll see. Anyway, at midnight we get our books. WOO.
Tomorrow Casey has gymnastics, and I'm about to call the vet and see if I can bring Willow in in the morning for that belly rash. I also need to stop by the church to sign us up for the youth group beach trip, which is next Saturday. And if I have the funds, I'll go ahead and register her for youth group while I'm there. I think it's like $75. SIGH. It's always something.
Tomorrow night I'm working a shift for overtime from 5-2. Like I said before, it's for a Microsoft event in the parks, and I think I'll just be standing around mostly. I am still waiting for the email with all the details to come out today.
Sunday I will sleep in and then go get Casey once I'm up. No church for me, since the latest one is 10:45 and I probably won't get to sleep until 3 AM.
Those are the only plans I have. Otherwise, I plan to read, read, read, and READ my new HP book. I am so psyched!!!
