(no subject)
The Harry Potter event was kind of neat (the president used floo powder to join us from England... hee), but I didn't learn anything much I didn't already know. I'm psyched though. I did find out they are bringing Grinchmas back this year, which makes me really happy. Everyone cheered when he said that.
Everyone else had the same idea I did to go straight to the grill for lunch afterwards. The line at the register went all the way to the back wall. Crazy. I got one of those pre-packaged sandwiches even though I don't love them, just to avoid waiting in line for hot food.
The ducks that live outside this building (our mascots, if you will) were sleeping in the grass when I walked by. I have decided to name them Turk and JD. Yep.
So, you know those jobs in creative I interviewed for? I had pretty much lost hope, but when I got back to my desk just now I had a message from their HR person, saying that Charlie ended up going on vacation at the last minute and a decision hasn't been made yet. YAY, hope has returned!
