The Town Hall event was pretty fun. There was BINGO, there was limbo, there were prizes I didn't win. But it was cool. And I got to come home right after, so that rocks. At least I think I was allowed to leave early. We usually are after these things, plus with Todd being on the committee he's too busy cleaning up and everything to even notice. But I'm 99% sure we were allowed to leave. GULP.
Casey is currently out with my mom shopping for my Mother's Day gift while I watch Medium (Holy 90s teen shows! It's got Neve Campbell AND Jason Priestley! Squee) and do laundry and cleaning. Just popping in for a second to say hi. So hi.
Tonight's TV schedule is out of control. I can tell it's May sweeps. And that I'm a TV junkie, but it's still pretty rare that there is this much I like on all in one night. I actually had to call my dad and ask him to tape something for me because I don't have enough DVRs and VCRs for all of it. Here's the schedule of shows I like that are on tonight.
8-10: Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader - Casey and I love it and it's a special 2 hour one tonight. The guy is apparently going to get to the million dollar question, so we want to see it for sure. Although, those ads are way too spoilery. I shouldn't know he's going for the million dollar question, because now when I watch I'll know he's going to get every question right until that point. It's kind of annoying, actually. Hey Jeff Foxworth, don't bother with the dramatic pauses. I know what you are going to say! Anyway, we are watching the first 40 minutes and then my dad is taping the rest for me.
8:40-9:20: The Office - NBC is not helping me by having their shows on at such weird times. The thing about this episode is that Jenna Fisher posted in her MySpace blog that this episode is not to be missed. Which in my mind means something is going to happen between Pam and Jim. Not that I would miss The Office ever anyway, but certainly not when Jenna Fisher is telling me not to miss it. Nu uh. So we're watching it from 8:40-9 and then I'm taping the rest on Casey's VCR.
9:20-10:01: Scrubs. Well, it's Scrubs. That's all I gotta say. This is also being taped on Casey's VCR.
9-10: Greys Anatomy. M hm. Can't miss that. No ways. Watching it live.
9-10: Supernatural. First of the 2 part season finale. DVRing that bad boy.
10-11: That new show Traveler. The ads sucked me in.
And then there's always The Daily Show.
GAH. Yes, I do have a problem.
