*Shakes Fist At Stephen King*

Yesterday I went to church, had brunch with my parents, trimmed the bushes in my front yard, put away the dishes from the dishwasher, did almost all the laundry, dusted the house, cleaned the bathrooms, paid some bills, got groceries, got rid of my turtle, saw Blades of Glory, and finished reading Cell.

Dustin and Niki came by yesterday and picked Jasmine (formerly Johnny Depp) the turtle up. Dustin was going to take her to the pet store he works at. And yes, Casey was right when she determined that the turtle is a girl, because Dustin picked her up and said “Does he have a name… or actually” …looking more closely… “does SHE have a name?”. After they left, I threw out everything that was in the tank because it was all green and nasty, dumped all the water out and put the tank on the back porch. I’m pretty sure we’re going to get one or two more baby turtles at some point, maybe next weekend. I know we’ll just have to turn around and give them away within the year, but in the meantime they are kind of fun to have and watch. And maybe someday I will strike it rich and be able to have a bigger house with bigger tanks to keep them in.

Blades of Glory was pretty funny. Our favorite line was “I just want to cut off your skin and wear it to my birthday that’s coming up.” ROFL.

As for Cell, I loved the book but detested the ending. It was like he just got tired of writing it and stopped. Maybe if he plans to do a sequel it would be okay, but way too much was left unresolved and I’m pretty sure there is no sequel in the works. Dammit.
