I bet I’m really behind on my flist reading. It’s been too busy to even look at it much this week. Maybe I’ll get to it this weekend.
Speaking of this weekend, I’m sure you’re all dying to know what my plans are. Hee. Tonight I may be in for some peace and quiet, because Casey might be at a sleepover. She’s currently at Universal (hey, me too! LOL) for Marissa’s birthday party, and she called not too long ago to say that it might extend to a sleepover and to ask if that was okay. Absolutely! LOL. So she’s supposed to let me know for sure later. My family is going out to dinner at Longhorn (mmmm) for my dad’s birthday tonight, so I might go with them, depending on when and if I have to pick Casey up.
Yeah, today is my dad’s birthday. He’s 63. And my child turned 11 this month too. OMG, I feel so old.
Anyway, that’s tonight. Tomorrow I have no plans. WOOT! Finally, a chance to stay home. I had considered us going to Holyland or Cypress Gardens because we have had annual passes for both since December and haven’t used them, but no way. I’m theme parked out right now. We’ll use them later. I happen to know of two concerts at Cypress Gardens that the kiddo is dying to attend (Jesse McCartney and JoJo), so we’ll at least get out there for that. But yeah, tomorrow is my chance to sleep in and then alternate between chilling out and getting stuff done. Yay.
Sunday afternoon, Casey has her very last day of religious education ever (since they start youth group once they get to middle school), and then we have church. Then that night is that musical we’re going to with the family, Tony and Tina’s Wedding. I think that should be lots of fun. We have to get all dressed up though, so I need to leaf through our closets. You have to dress like you are going to a wedding, because the people in the audience are the wedding guests. It’s interactive like that. Wee.
And then Monday it’s back to work to sort through the zillion boxes we’ve got and unpack everything. Ack. This building is such a mess right now, because it’s full of boxes and they are moving the cubicle walls around and stuff. I’ve been told I may lose power at some point, so I’m saving a lot. I’m kind of hoping Todd will let us leave early, since we’ve packed everything and might lose power, so we’re all going to run out of things to do soon.
Laters. Have a good weekend!
