My ear hurts. Uh oh. Um... ear infections aren't contagious, so I'm chalking this up to being nothing and everything is fine. FINE, dammit.
That being said, it was nice staying home today. I got so much done and still had time to relax in my recliner and watch a lot of TV. After I made that last post, Casey logged onto Webkinz.com and literally spent the whole day there. I made her get off a few minutes ago and go to bed. So that's 10 hours on one thing. Jeez. I wouldn't have allowed it, except that she's sick and what else is she going to do? She can't go out and play or anything. She may as well rest at the computer!
As for me... let's see how I did with that to do list...
-Finish the laundry (DONE)
-Return my library book (Well, I haven't actually left the house, but I did put the book by my purse so I can just drive by and drop it off tomorrow).
-Finish setting the clocks forward (D to the O.N.E.)
-Put more water in the turtle tank (YEP)
-Put the junk back in my trunk (YES!)
-Clean out the shoe closet. (And..... DONE!)
-Remove the phone cord I was using for my dial-up access (pretty much done. It stretched all around the kitchen and living room. I pulled out the little staples thingies from the wall with plyers. But it had been run behind the fridge, and it's stuck on something back there, so rather than go to the trouble of moving the fridge, I'm leaving it until we replace the floors, since it will have to be pulled out then anyway)
-Organize Casey's arts and crafts (DONE. This took the most work and I'm so happy it's done. Her stuff was taking over half of our dining room table and a bunch of space underneath. I organized it into drawers and tupperware containers. It looks so nice now.)
-Cancle AOhell (Not yet, but this is something I can do at work. It will probably take 2 seconds anyway, because I remember seeing an option you can click to do it)
-Other stuff I won't have time for and therefore am not bothering to list. (As a matter of fact, I did do some extra stuff, like empty the wastebaskets and some other things I can't remember)
Woo hoo! Also, I cooked one of our Magical Mealtime meals for dinner - Caper-Rosemary Steak. It was pretty good. A little too... um, I don't know... sweet or something for me? But it wasn't too bad. Casey said she really liked it, so that's good.
By the way, Casey seems to be doing pretty well. I'll have to check her temp in the morning and then decide if we can go to work/camp tomorrow. She seemed to have a little fever on and off today, but I felt her head a few minutes ago and it didn't feel warm.
By the way, holy crap 24!
Martha was like "Oh, I'm just going to take the dishes to the kitchen. Oh, on second thought..." STAB. WTF, crazy lady? LOL
