"The Social Network" Review

Finally got to see "The Social Network" and it was a GREAT film!!! :D  I can totally understand now why it's winning all the awards and the critics love it.  ;)  Very well written by Aaron Sorkin (one of my fav writers), and acted by the cast!!! :D   And great use of CGI for the twins.  ;)

Really intresting to see how Facebook was founded and everything that went down.  I remember back when Facebook originally was only for college students.  I was first invited to join it by my friends in early 2005, and now I use the site all the time to stay in touch with my friends, online friends, family, and my fav celebs who have fan pages on there.  It's such a huge part of my life now and it was intresting to see how all those features I use were developed.  ;)

The cast is just so talented and they are going to be bigger stars from this. ;)  Jesse and Andrew were great!!! :D  Still amazes me how Justin Timberlake is a good actor, when he was one of my former teen idols when he was N'SYNC.  ;)  LOL  And Armie Hammer sounded SO much like Jon Hamm!!! :O  LOL  My brother and I both noticed it.  And the CGI used in those scenes with the "twins" were amazing.  :D  Really awesome to know that Armie's head was CGI'd onto the stunt guy's body.  :O

I also thought it was funny of the scenes where Mark was writing on his LiveJournal.  LOL ;)  And all the cracks at MySpace, which I used to be a member of and haven't used in years.

And I loved the use of The Beatles song "Baby Your a Rich Man" for the ending credits!!! :D  Very fitting and I love when my favorite band pops up. ;)  But I also think the Beatles' "I Me Mine" could have fit too.  ;)

This film is my #2 favorite of 2010.  My #1 is still "Inception" and nothing will top that from last year.  ;)

Anyway, this was just a great film and I totally recommend it and I totally think it will win Best Picture at the Oscars.  :D
