2010 Emmys Reaction!!!

I’m very happy with majority of the Emmy wins last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Some of my favorite shows and actors won, and I got to hear Jon Hamm sing and see him dance for Betty White and dance with Tina Fey!!! <3 I am upset with some of my favorites not winning, but in some cases they lost to my other favorites so I can’t be too sad.

Congrats to the casts & crew of Mad Men and Modern Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I love both of these shows and they are just fantastic and I’m SO happy for them winning best drama and comedy!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I am sad though that LOST and Glee didn’t win, but they lost to 2 of my other favorites so it’s hard for me to be sad.

I am sad however that Matthew Fox and Jon Hamm (as well as Kyle Chandler) all got robbed for Lead Drama Actor. :( That Bryan Cranston’s won 3 years in a row now. LOL ;) Foxy totally deserved it. :(  Same goes for Terry O’Quinn who deserved it for the MIB on LOST. ;)  At least the Golden Globes and SAG awards are still coming so he still has a chance. ;)

Speaking of Jon Hamm, I LOVED the Emmys opening number Jimmy Fallon did and made it a Glee parody with the cast of Glee, Jon Hamm, Tina Fey, Jorge Garcia, Joel McHale, Nina Dorbrev, Betty White, Randy Jackson, and even Kate Goslin (which was hilarious!!! LOL :D) and they all sang and dance to Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” and performed it live on stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D That was SO awesome and Jon is a GREAT singer and dancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 Who knew? LOL ;) Loved seeing him paired yet again with Tina Fey!!! <3 And Jon dancing for Betty White was just hysterical!!! :D LOL Jorge was SO great too!!! :D You can watch the opening here:

Then I was very happy for Jane Lynch winning supporting actress in a comedy for Glee!!! :D She is just SO awesome!!! :D Ryan Murphy also won for directing Glee and he is a GREAT director and did a great job with “Eat Pray Love” too!!! :D

I’m also SO happy for Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D He’s fantastic as Cameron and totally deserved it!!! :D

And YAY for Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D He’s deserved that award now and he finally got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I also now want to check out that HBO movie “Temple Grandin”. :) I wanted to before the Emmys since I wanted to know about Temple’s story and I don’t have HBO, so hopefully I’ll get to check that out. ;)

Happy for Tom Hanks winning best mini-series for “The Pacific”!!! :D I didn’t watch it and don’t plan to, but I’m happy for Tom. LOL ;)

Michael Sheen didn't win either, but I'm hoping since he probably saw Tina Fey last night maybe they'll be able to bring back Wesley again to 30 Rock.  ;)

I also loved Jimmy’s tributes to “24” as Elton John, “Law & Order” as Boyz to Men, and LOST as Foxy’s favorite band Green Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D That was SO great the way he changed the words!!! LOL ;)

The In Memorium tribute was really good too and Jewel's song was really great!!!  <3

Happy for George Clooney getting the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award!!! :D Nice seeing him at the Emmys too since he hasn’t been there in so long. ;) LOL And the Modern Family skit he did!!! LOL :D

So the Emmys are over now, but Award Season has just begun!!! :D Next up is the Golden Globes, then the SAG awards, and finally the Oscars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
