LOST 5.8: "Meet Jim Le Fleur"!!!
WOW!!! :D Seriously, LOST just keeps getting SO much better!!! :D Season 5 is topping everything!!! ;) This week’s ep was a Sawyer centric and we got some pretty cool reveals and what happened to them after Locke turned the wheel!!! :D

Episode 5.8 “La Fleur”
A Sawyer Episode
So for this episode I’m going to split it into the 2 years we got. 1974 & 1977. ;) Except this first part.

I’m giving shout out to one of my high school history teachers for this one!!! :D We did a couple of months on in-depth ancient Egyptian studies, so finally being able to see more of the four-toe statue was AWESOME!!! :D And I agree with Sledgeweb’s LOST Stuff’s site that this statue is Egyptian and possibly the Egyptian god Anubis. He has like a dog’s head and a human’s body. He carries around the ankh, which I remember Ms. Stevens-Brown wearing all the time in class, and is what that Dharma guy who died named Paul was carrying. Anyway, Anubis helps the recent departed into the afterlife and judges them on where they will go in the afterlife. Here’s a pic of an Anubis statue:
I’m totally thinking that the Island was populated with some ancient Egyptians, and that Richard is possibly one of them!!! ;) We saw that Sawyer, Juliet, Dan, Miles, and Jin saw this statue right before Locke fixed the wheel and stopped the flashes. Which now leads us to:
1974
We find out from Dan that whatever year the group is stuck in, they can’t leave. Looks like we’ll be in the 70s for awhile!!! :D My Mom’s pretty excited about this. LOL ;) The flashes are gone, everyone is fine, but they are in the wrong time period. Daniel himself is pretty messed up, and everyone finds out Charlotte died, and her body disappeared.
If You Seek Amy
They group hears gunshots and they find a woman with a bag over her head, and a man dead. 2 guys are going after her and are planning to kill her, but Juliet and Sawyer save the day!!! :D We see the woman and are introduced to Amy!!! :D I was SO happy cuz it’s Rieko Alyesworth (Michelle from 24)!!! :D She’s a GREAT actress and I’m SO happy to see her back on TV on another of my FAV shows!!! :D We find out the guy killed name was Paul, and was Amy’s husband. But they have to bury the 2 HOSTILES!!! Yes, it’s the Others!!! :O Amy and Paul are part of the Dharma Initiative and they can’t break the truce. But as they go back, Amy tricks them into going through the fence. She’s got earplugs, so it won’t hurt her, but they all go unconscious. We later find out it was to test to make sure they weren’t part of the Others, cuz that fence doesn’t bother them. :O
Meet Jim La Fleur and his shipwrecked crew
Sawyer concocts his plan to Horace, mixing his time at the Black Rock ship and Danielle’s & the Freighter’s stories. Horace believes them and tells them they can get on the sub back to the mainland. However, it’ll still be 1974.
The little red-headed Girl
We see Juliet, Miles, Dan, and Jin all waiting outside. Juliet is a little weirded out cuz she used to live there with the Others, and could clearly see people living in her house. LOL ;) Dan’s still off thinking about Charlotte, when suddenly a British woman and her daughter come by, and the little RED HEADED girl waves at Daniel!!! :O He’s freaked and we see it’s little CHARLOTTE waving at him!!! :O Poor guy, I feel SO bad for him!!! : (
The Hostiles Want Revenge
They are interrupted when RICHARD comes to talk to Horace, who is the leader of the Dharma people. Everyone goes into hiding in the houses, while Horace goes out. Richard and Horace are arguing about the truce and Horace tells him he didn’t kill his men. Horace then comes back, and Sawyer says he’ll tell Richard the truth. He does this, and Richard is shocked. He asks who Sawyer is, and Sawyer replies that he was with John Locke and he’s waiting for him to come back. :O Sawyer explains some of the things they witnessed in the 50s, and Richard says the truce with the Dharma people will remain, if he can give him something. Sawyer then goes with Horace to Amy, where she is with Paul’s body. They tell her the Others want Paul’s body, and after awhile Amy agrees. Why they want this I don’t want to know. LOL ;) It’s just sounds creepy. Amy talks to Horace, and we start to see that their friendship is close. Horace then says that the sub will next be leaving in 2 weeks, so they can stay till then.
Who’s going to have my Back?
Sawyer then talks with Juliet about leaving. Juliet still wants to get back home to her sister and nephew, but Sawyer reminds her that it’s 1974 and her sister is too young. Juliet doesn’t care and still wants to leave. However, Sawyer really wants her to stay. He asks her whose going to have his back if she leaves, and they two bond over all they’ve gone through, and Juliet decides to stay 2 weeks. But we see it’s WAY longer than that. LOL ;)
1977
4 of My Shows Combine!!!
I thought this was awesome!!! :D When we saw those 2 guys who work under Sawyer, I about screamed!!! LOL ;) Not only do we have Rieko from 24 on her now, we have 2 actors from 2 of my other fav shows Friday Night Lights and Mad Men on LOST now!!! :D Jerry was played by the actor who plays Herc on Friday Night Lights and Jerry seems EXACTLY the same, just not in a wheelchair!!! LOL ;) Then Phil was played by an actor on Mad Men Season 2!!! :D that’s just awesome. Anyway, we find out Jerry and Phil are part of the security team and are helping Sawyer with a project. But Horace is actually out there with dynamite and in a drunken stupor. Sawyer, who is now going by the name of Jim La Fleur, is the head of security and he and Miles, whose last name says Enos, go to get Horace before Amy gets upset. We find out Amy and Horace are now married, and she’s pregnant. The two were fighting over Paul again, who we know died. But Amy goes into labor, and the doctors can’t deliver cuz she’s breach and she was supposed to go back to the main land.
We see Juliet’s working as a car mechanic, but Sawyer tells her about Amy’s baby and that they need her to do a c-section!!! :O Juliet’s freaked cuz everyone she’s done, they’ve all died. Sawyer has faith in her, and she agrees. As Juliet’s delivering the baby, we see Jin talk with Sawyer. Jin’s English has improved a LOT!!! :D Daniel de Kim must be happy to speak English full-time now. LOL ;) Anyway, we see that Jin’s working for Sawyer and they are waiting for Locke and the rest to come back, but still nothing yet. Sawyer still won’t give up that Locke will come back. Juliet then comes back and is SO happy she’s crying. She was finally able to deliver a baby, and it’s a healthy boy!!! :D Now, who will this baby grow up to be???
Welcome Suliet!!!
We see Sawyer now happy and he picks a flower and smells it. When he gets back to his house, we see the dinner table is set and someone’s cooking. The camera pans and Juliet is making spaghetti. Sawyer then shows her the flower and give it to her for the great work her did delivering the baby!!! :D Juliet smiles, hugs him, and the two kiss!!! :D I had a feeling this new ship was coming!!! :D Suliet is born!!! ;) After they break apart, Juliet tells him she loves him, and Sawyer replies that he loves her too!!! <3 OMG!!! :D I’m SO shipping these two!!! :D I haven’t felt this way about a couple on LOST that’s not Jack&Kate, Charlie&Claire, Sun&Jin, or Desmond&Penny!!! :D SO shipping Sawyer and Juliet!!! :D Wow!!! :D They are just SO happy!!! :D
Later, we see that Sawyer’s waiting for Horace to wake up. Once Horace does, he tells him Amy had the baby and it’s a boy. Horace is happy, but so mad at himself for getting drunk. Sawyer asks what they were fighting about, and Horace explains he found Paul’s necklace in Amy’s sock drawer. He asks Sawyer if 3 years is enough to get over someone, and Sawyer tells him about KATE!!! :O Sawyer says, he barely remembers her anymore and that he is over her. :D You can get over someone and he’s proof!!! :D WOAH!!! :D Seriously, I think the Jate/Skate triangle is DONE!!! :D SO happy with this development!!! :D More on that in a minute.
They’re Here!!!
The next morning, Sawyer gets a call waking him and Juliet. He hurries off and tells Juliet he’s going to the North Valley. Once there, he meets up with Jin, and we see Jack, Hurley, and Kate get out of the Dharma van!!! :O Sawyer is stunned and happy to finally see them all, as is the O3!!! Now, Sawyer’s got to plan what to do next. ;)
WOW!!! I LOVED this ep!!! :D And I really think the triangle is OVER!!! ;) Yeah, Kate and Sawyer are happy to see each other, but they’re friends now and nothing more. :D They’ve both moved on. They’re relationship only lasted a few weeks. Compare that to Kate&Jack being together and engaged on&off for 3 years; and Sawyer&Juliet being together for 3 years. :D It’ll be interesting to watch them find out about these developments. I can actually see Sawyer helping Jack to make things right with Kate, just like he did with Horace and Amy!!! ;) It’ll be really cool. But that’s what I think we’re seeing now. The plan all along has been for Jack&Kate, and Sawyer to find his own happiness with someone else like Juliet. :D
