Where to begin.......

I seem to have fallen off my live journal bandwagon. So much has happened since I've last posted. I'm in a very good place in my life right now. Some of you may know that userillusion and I were married on June 7, 2008. It was such a beautiful day! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and hope those in attendance did as well. I'm still getting used to my new last name. Now I only put the "s" of my maiden name before I realize what I'm doing! I'm sure with time it will become easier. I've had the former longer and thus had more practice ;)

We had a fabulous honeymoon in Costa Rica. It's such a beautiful country and the people are super friendly. The zip lines through the canopy were just amazing! Once you're attached to the line, you barely realize how far off the ground you are. I only got scared when I approached the edge of the platform before they hooked the harness to the line. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone - well except toddlers! While we were on the zip line tour a family brought there two year old thinking he would love it. Yeah, not so much. The dad had a nice hike back to the start with the little guy as he was so not having it!

We took boatloads of pictures while away. I think userillusion took around 700 or so on his step-dads camera. It was really nice that he let us borrow it. It had a telephoto lens that put some of the pics on my cannon powershot to shame. Not to say that I didn't get any good shots but they were just different quality. Having the two cameras worked out great because we each had one to take pics with. My camera is really good with photos at a closer range for obvious reasons but the other could get close ups of the monkeys in the tree tops. Now all we have to do is go through them and decide which ones to make prints of. This will be a huge undertaking!

For now it's back to work for me! We're coming into my busy season so it's a good thing I'm well rested. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. Yeah for work?
