Ohhh, that sounds fascinating. I really want to know more about that.

kinds of humour, like incongruity, superiority etc. There's even a formula for humour that is basically :
incongruity = laughter. add sex for more effect
Ha! I could SO use a panel on humour. Without a doubt I've found it the hardest emotional tone to control/produce in vidding so far. But talitha78 is my humour-vid idol so I'm sure her talk was awesome. *wrestles jealousy down again*

the idea of doing next year's con in the French Riviera popped up, and it would be called FRAKON (FRAnceKON, gettit ?), to which people answered, I quote "Fuck yeah". So who knows ? Certainly if people are into it, that might happen
If I had enough notice (i.e to save the megadollars required to get myself there) I'd come! (by then I'd have been vidding for 3 years--is that too few to go to a con? I don't know! *existential vidder angst*)

oh really, there is no need for that. There's no such thing as "too new to attend". Lots of people who attend the cons aren't even vidders, just vid-lovers. and even if you're a vidder, it's great to meet everyone, new and older vidder, it doesn't matter. No angst is needed, everyone will welcome you with open arms. I'm a new vidder myself so i know what i'm sayin' ;)
I think if the con happens again, we'll give everyone more notice since we'll know a bit more what we're doing, so hopefully, you could come :D

Thanks for the encouraging news re. the con thing. It sounds like one of those things that seems more intimidating in theory than it really is in practice.
