DUDE, did you send tk the they might be giants cd? he received some books and that cd recently and i need to update the blastothon page.

Dude I SO badly want to go but don't know if I can swing it this year, it's a hell of a long way for me to go and I LOVE it but the last con was in L.A and I had a buddy there I could stay with after and this time it's WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STATES. And I don't know...I SO badly want to swing it and now you're going too, god damn it, the list of reasons to go just keep growing.

Oh. Oh oh oh. I thought you meant you were going to the thing in Chicago. I went to this last year in LA and it was the WORST con I've ever been to. It was all WINCEST, all the time. In your face, in the programming...just awful. Het was an afterthought. Gen was completely ignored. The panels were horrible...no kind of order, no thought, just fans up there spouting opinions, while people in the crowd made everything into a wincest joke ( ... )

i remember kim talking about this but i didn't realize it was the same con. since i'm the anti-het and slash it should be interesting. but i may just barnacle myself to refur's side and then her aura of awesome will protect me. *nod*

if all else fails, we can ditch the con and go eat seafood!

You should have enough folks to run with. Find your friends,and hang with them. I'm kinda wondering if, since RPS has sorta gripped this fandom if THAT won't be the man THRUST (hee) this time. Which...not really better than Wincest.

On a bright note, they really did have the best FREE bar I've ever seen at a con. TONS of alcohol, so...BONUS.
