Wouldn't have imagined I'd be somewhere this nice when I got up this morning...

(continued from here)

I looked around Savannah's room, just taking in how perfect it all seemed, how inviting and comfortable it looked. It was unlike anything I had now, or even had back in Sunnydale. We weren't exactly dirt poor back then, but we didn't have anything like this, or any hired help...any of that. Not that I begrudged Savannah any of this for a second. I was happy she'd had things so good.

"My God...that bed looks as comfortable as a cloud with all those pillows." I breathed, "And all the books and the computer..."

She was like a modern princess in my mind. But then my comparisons were slightly skewed. If this was my room I'd probably never leave. Though I'm thinking if I had a room this nice, I'd never have to actually leave.

"Can I just stay in here forever?" I asked, slightly under my breath, still a little in shock at how nice everything was. Most kids with this much would be total spoiled brats...but Savannah? Was absolutely anything but as far as I could tell. Maybe a little stubborn and mouthy but who wasn't?

((open to Savannah))
