I've decided something. Snow is evil. Either that, or I'm really not cut out for living in a cold climate. 'Cause that? Longest winter in the history of the universe, I swear

I blinked at her for a few seconds, "Why?" I asked.
I couldn't figure out, as much as I tried why she wanted to spend her money on me, and basically give me free reign. It was such a foriegn concept to me.
"I mean, you don't have to spend any money on me at all, or even try as hard as you are with me, and yet, you are...I don't get it."
"No, no...it'll be fun." I insisted, smiling as she ran her fingers through my hair. "I guess I'm just so used to everyone around me not thinking to pay any attention to me because they were so busy with their own stuff...so this is all...new I guess." I tried to explain to her.
"Why don't we just leave her a note?" I offered. Seemed easier to me than explaining why we were suddenly going shopping, and us having to explain how quickly I'd gotten through the assignments Alexandra had brought.
"Other than she's probably busy, possibly not even here, and therefore it'd just be easier to stick a note on the fridge like we always have, not really." I replied. The system worked, always had...what was the point in changing it now?
"So can I just write the note and we can get on with the fun of shopping?" I asked hopefully.
"Alright, but please add my cell number at the bottom, that way if she wishes she can call and speak to you while we are out alright?"
I said, I was always a nervous sort, I don't know why, other than the months I spent in hiding, hiding from the first and its minions, I had no reason to be nervous.
"Will do." I nodded to her, grabbing a big black marker out of the desk and writing Buffy's name all the way across the top of the page. There...that should get her attention. Then I wrote that Alexandra and I were going shopping, added her cell number and said we'd be back in a few hours.
"I have no idea." I replied to her question as we headed to her car. "You can pick. Clothes, shoes, CDs, candles, something totally random?" I shrugged. "Don't want you to be bored while I'm spending your money." I added with a smirk.
"You're acting like it's my birthday or something." I commented, doing up my seat belt. "Can I ask what I did to deserve to be spoiled?" I asked curiously.
"I don't know, I just felt like spoiling you. I suppose I just feel that you are deserving..that and I am easily bored so spending money sounds like a good cure for that."
The last part was a complete joke, but I could tell she didn't understand that by the look on her face.
"I was joking darling. I just wanted you to have some nice things..and it sounded better than more work."
"I've got plenty of nice things...the council made sure of that when they set us up here in Salem." I reminded her. It was one of the few things they'd actually done that didn't completely benifit themselves that I could remember.
"Though I'm not about to turn down a pretty dress or some shoes if you're offering." I smiled brightly. I may be pretty used to dealing with the nastiest things this world had to offer, but that didn't mean I didn't like having pretty clothes to wear when I wasn't.

I said with a smile as I ran my fingers through her gorgeous hair.
"I guess I just wish to spoil you. I am a strange person, what can I say."
I giggle slightly.
"However if you don't wish to shop..than I suppose I can find something else to do."

"Yes, well lets go shopping, just please tell your sister so that she does not panic in your absence"

"I would much prefer if you asked her so she doesn't believe that I am a bad influence."
I said with a smile
"Is there some reason that you don't wish to speak with her directly."

"Yes, we can at that"
I smiled and headed to the car with her.
"Where is it you would like to go."
