[Round 8 signups] Character Backstories

Thanks to everyone who came out and voted for this round.
The focus for this round will be CHARACTER BACKSTORIES
Stories/prompts for this round should focus on the backstory or backstories of one or more BtVS character.
No additional thematic challenge this month, just have fun with the backstories!
Artists are free to create original art, or create art inspired by previously written stories for the community (with author's permission).
Schedule Round 8:
Monday January 16: poll goes up
Thursday January 19: sign ups go live
Sunday January 22: assignments go out
Saturday February 25: assignments due
Remember our standard rules:
+ No slashing, no canon-pairings, no popular fandom-pairings.
+ No romance, no UST, no lust, no sex as emphasis
+ You may offer two story prompts, if you wish. If you are assigned two prompts, you are only required to write one of the prompts.
+ There is no upper limit, but you have to write at least 500 words.
+ If for some reason you cannot write your story, or it's gonna be late, let me know, either by LJ PM or at punch_kicker15 at ymail dot com.

At this point, there is a pretty substantial body of work to choose from so - you can choose to apply the artist challenge to an older piece (with the author's permission), work with an author for this round, or create an original piece. There is no additional thematic challenge this round for any art you create.
