My response to July 09 start

Thanks, karyn.  Hope you enjoy.

My response is:

Dawn looked at what she typed on the paper.  Spike always said there were consequences for magical actions.  She just hoped she covered everything well enough that the consequences were almost non-existent.  Dawn wanted her sister to be happy.

“Nibblet, what are you doing down here?”  Spike appeared at the top of the stairs.  He came down the rest of the way, and he came over to Dawn.  Spike leaned down to read what was on the paper in the typewriter.  “’Spike and Buffy took one look at each other, and they fell instantly in love.’  You plannin’ on tellin’ the Slayer’s love story with moi?”

Dawn giggled.  “I just missed you, silly.  I wanted to do something that made me feel closer to you.”

“Buffy and I only went out for patrol a few hours ago.”  Spike stood up.  “Wasn’t really much to miss, was there?”

Dawn shook her head.  There was no way she was going to tell the vampire that just minutes before he had been dust on the pavement of a Los Angeles alley along with Angel.

“Just make sure you get the facts right,” Spike chuckled.  “Now, come upstairs.  Our blood is warmed and ready.”

“Blood?” Dawn squeaked.  She felt her face change as the blood lust came over her.  She panicked just a bit.  “I’ll be up in a minute, Spike.”

After Spike went upstairs, she hastily added a line about nobody getting vamped.
