I went home after talking to Giles. I wanted to pick up some stuff I'd had boxed away,
like swimsuits and a few books.
Finals were rough. I think I aced the English test, but that was the easiest of them.
I'll be taking a summer class, if I have the time.
Mom wasn't there. I left a note for her on the counter.
My old foot locker with the hidden drawer is still in my room. I took out some extra
stakes.
I did a sweep through town. Riley was assigned to another sector this week, so I
wouldn't be seeing much of him. Took out a vampire that was--can you believe this?-
standing outside the local Starbucks. Okaay. What part of 'standing in front of a
plate glass window when you don't cast a reflection is a bad idea' was too complicated
for her? I swear, some of these newbies make Harmony look like a rocket scientist.
Right. Done my window shopping for the night. Time to check out some old haunts.
