Willow's been acting really strange the past couple of weeks.
Nervous. Like she's waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I never got that saying. What happened to the first
shoe? And why are shoes bad? Cordy would have a field day
with that.
The dance was fun, kinda sweet and romantic. She ran into
Tara again. It was good to see her. I hope she can get to
feeling easy around us.
She and Willow could both use more friends. I don't do the
whole Wicca thing, and Willow's into it lately. Me, I tend
to think being the Slayer is enough supernatural oddness/
power for anyone.
Riley is impressed by it. I asked him, sort of hinting, about
magical types and the Initiative. He said sometimes they'll
contract out stuff like protection spells or cures to
a witch or spellcaster, but no, there aren't any on the
team itself. Said Walsh had vetoed including a magic-user
as a permanent operative.
I suppose she must have her reasons.
Patrol's tonight. It is so windy! We may not get snow, but
sleet and gusts that pull your hair into your face aren't
much fun either.
I stay warm. That's something. *smiles mischievously* We both do.
