Sabre thoughts and mindless ramble...
First off, I would like to say thank you for a great regular season that the boys had. You couldn't have asked for a better job done. Presidents Cup winners, multiple 30 goal scorers, you name it, they did it. But, all of those accolades does NOT win championships! Hard work, and determination win you those. The Sabres didn't have it at all during the playoffs. I know they beat the Islanders in five games, but the Sabres had more talent in their pinky toe than the Islanders will ever have. The beat the Rangers, but yet again, they were on cruise control in that series. Come this round against the Sens, they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar. They didn't show up at all the first THREE GAMES of the series. The third game was a serious slap in the face of everyone of the Buffalo Sabres fans there are around the world. Terrible performance. They made Ray Emery look like Dominick Hasek, when he's really more like Ed Belfour. Am I mad? Damn right I am. To be honest, i'm disappointed. It's just another season of what if?....
This semester is finally over with! Now, just another week and a half of freedom and then it's back to hitting the books for just a month as both of my summer classes are over with before my summer vacation begins.
Isn't it funny that cops can pull you over for talking on your cell phone for driving and talking with being hands-free, but yet, I see more cops who are talking on their cell phones and driving at the same time?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Finally, congrats go out to Andy for receiving his Bachelors Degree from Canisius yesterday. I had the honor of going to the ceremony and seeing Dr. Marv Levy give a commencement speech. He was quite good for an 81 year old man.
