Mindless Ramble
Congrats to Van Halen on being chose to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They deserve to be there, no doubt. There's even rumors going around that VH is planning on touring this summer with none other than Diamond Dave himself, David Lee Roth, AKA the original voice of VH. Now, when DLR was in the band, they were a in your face, straight-ahead, kick ass, bad mofo rock and roll band. It was all about hard rock and the ladies. You can pop in one of the early VH cd's or records (depends on how old you are) and you'll get some great rock and roll. When the ego's got out of control and DLR left the band, they brought in Sammy Hagar, who brought a different style to the band. They still rocked out and all, but the new VH was more of a serious band than anything. There were more songs about life and ballads, and not T&A. Sorry off of my soapbox. Now i'm all for having Dave back, but Eddie Van Halen has been quoted saying that Michael Anthony, the bass player, doesn't want to be around if Dave's back. So, Eddie decides that his 15 year old son, Wolfgang will be the bass player in the band when they tour this summer. Please, that would be like having me replace John Lennon in the Beatles. STUPID! For once, all that I ask is for all of the ego driven assholes we worship put their inflated ego's aside, and just go out and kick some ass. Is that so freaking hard?
Since i'm bitching (and it feels good), how hard is it when you're driving to PUT YOUR FREAKING TURN SIGNAL ON?????????? Seriously, are we that lazy that we can't do something so simple as to alert our other fellow drivers where we are going? The thing that I hate the most is when you're in one of those either turn or go straight lanes, and your behind someone who doesn't have their turn signal on, but when the light turns green, they don't move and you honk your horn to tell them to move, and that's when they put the turn signal on. Pisses me off.
