I just discovered a movie called "Lackawanna Blues" and this is the plot synopsis: In a story fueled by rhythm and blues, a young boy's life is shaped by love and the stories of a cast of characters in the boarding house where he lives in 1960s Lackawanna, New York.
I also saw that there's a show of the same title set for HBO.
It's a really interesting look into the past. I dunno about you guys but I enjoy movies and stories that take place in our around our great city, especially historical ones.
Just thought I'd mention it for anyone who's interested. I'd never heard of it before but have been sucked into it since I turned it on!
