A couple pet questions

Hubby and I are looking to add another kitty to our family. We have two established cats so we would like to get a kitten. We've adopted from the SPCA before but are thinking about adopting from the Buffalo Animal Shelter. I am wondering if anyone knows the adoption fee for adopting a kitten from there as I can't find it on their website. Any experiences with the BAS? Are they good there? Worth adopting from?

Are there any other places besides those two that are good to adopt from? Perhaps some breed-specific rescues in the area?

Also, we've been taking care of a stray cat for the better part of a year. We haven't incorporated him into our household because he's an extremely dominant cat. He's extremely sweet and loving. (A long time ago I posted pics here of him when he first started coming around). We let him stay in our laundry room at night, and whenever it's snow-storming outside. It's clear he was someone's cat before but we don't know what shots he's had. He's also not neutered. So, my last question: do you know of any free rabies clinics in the area, or when/where they are?

Thanks for the help!
