I am looking for either:
A) A good doctor or rheumatologist that specializes in/diagnoses and treats Fibromyalgia.
B) A pain management/pain medicine specialist that is worth going to and takes Univera Plus Medicaid.
I'm looking for names, reviews, and personal experiences/feedback. Thanks for anyone that can help!

Oh the endo. If you're anything like me you've had the fun of going through different doctors who think it's in your head and you can just deal with it. Not Dr. Peer. He is very knowledgable with endo and is very willing to help. All he wants is for you to be honest with him and to tell him how bad the pain really is. I was scared shitless on my first visit but he put me at ease right away and the scars from all the bad doc visits in the past are finally subsiding.
I've been seeing him for a year. My dad sees him too and has been going for years, and never reported needing a drug test or anything like that.
I've told Dr. Peer several times how before I was seeing him that my endo left me bed-ridden and how no other docs believed me. I follow that up with how now because of him I can get up every day, work, exercise and lead a pretty normal life. It's absolutely amazing! It'll take 3-4 months probably for you to get in, but just tell the receptionist what's going on and she'll put you on a move-up list. You'll also have a questionaire to fill out and bring on your first visit.
Any other questions just msg me. I am happy to help anyway I can. I hate endometriosis so much, but I'm glad we have a doctor locally who can help. He doesn't need to see it to believe it; just telling him about your daily life is enough for him!
